2026 Free Chlorine Burnout

Notice to our RWD#3 patrons. We just received a call that PWWSD#13 will be conducting a free chlorine burnout of their water distribution system starting today. This will affect a portion of our patrons. 

During the burnout, customers may notice some odor or cloudiness in the water, it is harmless and safe to drink and use normally. We recommend letting your taps run until clear if you notice a change. 

Patrons who use tap water for in-home kidney dialysis should consult their doctor to determine if any changes are necessary in their residual disinfectant neutralization process. Patrons using tap water for aquariums should monitor both free and combined chlorine residuals.
